NOC Technician - Summary
- Monitor and maintain network and data center operations to ensure optimal performance
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, outages, and alerts in real-time
- Document all incidents and escalate Tier II and Tier III issues to designated support groups
- Install, rack, and configure server and network hardware as required
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat systems
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a focus on operational excellence
Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistently monitor network and server infrastructure for performance and availability using NOC tools
- Perform skilled technical assessments to identify, analyze, and resolve network and hardware issues
- Isolate root causes of outages and document findings for future reference and trend analysis
- Escalate unresolved or complex Tier II and Tier III alerts to the appropriate technical support teams in a timely manner
- Install, rack, and maintain physical server and network-based equipment as part of regular operations
- Deliver technical support and troubleshooting for end-users over the phone, through email, and via chat platforms
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, actions taken, and follow-up procedures in accordance with organizational protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain system stability
- Follow established escalation procedures and ensure all issues are addressed according to service level agreements
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices related to network and systems administration

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a NOC Technician or Data Center Technician
- Proven experience installing and racking server and network equipment
- Demonstrated ability to escalate Tier II and Tier III technical alerts appropriately
- Strong technical support skills, with experience assisting end-users via phone, email, and chat
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
