- Serve as the primary point of contact for nursing staff during the assigned shift, offering guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Facilitate communication between families and care teams, providing education and emotional support to parents and guardians.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in neonatal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing staff development and training.
- Address and resolve conflicts or issues among staff, patients, or families in a professional manner.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the relevant state.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Significant, recent experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Prior experience in a charge nurse or leadership role within a NICU setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
