This position is open to both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners with relevant neurosurgical experience and the required certifications. Physician Assistants will be considered while awaiting state licensure, and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners must possess an active state license. Required certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Clinical duties will include, but are not limited to, drain removal, basic wound care, and suture or staple removal—all integral aspects of postoperative neurosurgical care.

Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Summary- Locum assignment for six months, offering a blend of inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery coverage
- Work with a daily patient census of 15-20 individuals
- Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide direct patient care to neurosurgical patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform clinical procedures such as drain removal, basic wound care, and suture or staple removal
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Assist with the management of post-operative neurosurgical patients
- Coordinate care with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
