As a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA-C), you will be integral in delivering both inpatient and outpatient care, participating in surgical procedures, providing post-operative management, and assisting with consults, rounding, and clinic duties. The role includes the full spectrum of neurosurgical care, including but not limited to cranial procedures, spinal fusions, decompressive surgeries, and interventions for aneurysms, tumors, and nerve injuries. The contract offers flexibility in scheduling, with options for traditional weekday hours or 12-hour shifts, as well as participation in a 1:3 call rotation. Robust support is available, including a travel liaison and comprehensive onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition into the team.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist neurosurgeons in the operating room for a range of neurosurgical procedures, including cranial and spinal surgeries
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
- Participate in daily inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic consultations
- Provide care for patients with neurological conditions such as aneurysms, tumors, nerve injuries, and spine disorders
- Conduct procedures such as spinal fusions, decompressive surgeries, and interventions for cranial pathologies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Participate in a 1:3 call rotation as scheduled
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with clinical protocols
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing care

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the NCCPA
- Eligibility for Wisconsin medical licensure (willing to wait on licensure process for the right candidate)
