We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical support in neurosurgical procedures, including assisting in the operating room, performing pre- and post-operative rounding, and managing trauma admissions.
- Work closely with neurosurgeons and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for neurosurgery patients.
- Participate in the admitting process for trauma patients, ensuring timely and accurate assessment, documentation, and care coordination.
- Utilize a multidisciplinary approach in patient care, coordinating with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams to provide compassionate support, education, and counseling regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge processes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, supporting continuity and quality of care for all neurosurgery patients.
- Demonstrate clinical proficiency in a broad range of neurosurgical and trauma-related procedures and protocols.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and organizational standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Active ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification.
- Current or eligible Colorado state PA license preferred.
- Significant experience in neurosurgery or trauma care strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights, as part of a full-time schedule.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative practice environment.
