Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neurosurgical assessments in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Assist neurosurgeons in the operating room as first assist during a variety of neurosurgical procedures
- Perform preoperative and postoperative patient evaluations and follow-up care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to neurosurgical care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Document patient encounters, procedures, and progress notes accurately and efficiently
- Participate in patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
- Rotate on-call responsibilities as part of the neurosurgery team schedule

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) required
