Neurosurgeon, MD/DO – Summary
- Full-time Neurosurgeon (MD/DO) position based at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, MI
- Opportunity to perform advanced neurosurgical procedures in a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical intervention for a variety of neurological conditions
- Participate in trauma cases as part of the only Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center in the region
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, critical care, and other surgical specialists
- Engage in patient and family education, ensuring a clear understanding of diagnoses, treatment options, and post-operative care
- Support the hospital’s mission by participating in quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education
- Contribute to the education and training of residents and medical students affiliated with Central Michigan University’s College of Medicine
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EPIC electronic medical record system

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of an accredited residency in neurosurgery
- Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
