Neurologist (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history and neurological examinations
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson's disease, and migraines
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, MRIs, CT scans, and lumbar punctures
- Provide patient education on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Participate in quality improvement projects, clinical research, and continuing medical education
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington, or eligibility to obtain one
