Neurologist, MD - Summary
- Permanent, full-time position for a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist, MD in IA.
- Work primarily day shifts, ensuring a balanced work schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, including but not limited to epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, migraines, and neuropathies.
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, including neurological examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other medical specialists, to deliver integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about neurological disorders, treatment options, and long-term management strategies.
- Stay current with developments in neurology through continuing medical education (CME), conferences, and research.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with completion of an accredited neurology residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or equivalent.
- Unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in IA or eligibility to obtain one.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders.
