We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neurohospitalist (MD/DO) to provide expert inpatient neurology care as a locum tenens provider. This critical role involves managing acute neurological conditions in a hospital setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of patient care. This Neurohospitalist (MD/DO) opportunity is designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering evidence-based neurological care to diverse patient populations. The position offers a flexible schedule, with both day and night shifts available, and is structured around a 7 on / 7 off model, though other scheduling preferences can be accommodated to support work-life balance and personal needs.

As a Neurohospitalist (MD/DO), you will play an integral role in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders, including stroke, seizures, encephalopathy, and other acute neurological presentations. The ideal candidate will be board certified and hold either an applicable state medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility, ensuring seamless credentialing and onboarding. With a manageable daily census of 12-15 patients, the Neurohospitalist (MD/DO) will be able to provide attentive, high-quality care while collaborating closely with hospitalists, nurses, and subspecialty consultants.

In this locum tenens role, all travel, lodging, and related professional expenses are covered or reimbursed, offering maximum flexibility and peace of mind for candidates. The compensation structure follows 1099 guidelines, allowing you to set up arrangements that best suit your professional and personal preferences.
