Neuro-Spine Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary- Contract position for a Neuro-Spine Physician Assistant (PA-C) in an outpatient setting
- Six-month assignment supporting neuro-spine surgeons and fellows
- Focus on adult patient population requiring post-operative and follow-up care
- Outpatient care only; no operating room or inpatient responsibilities
- Manage post-operative and follow-up appointments for neuro-spine surgery patients
- Provide clinical support to surgeons and fellows during outpatient visits
- Perform outpatient procedures such as staple removal, drain removal, and wound care
- Order imaging studies and medications as needed
- Communicate with patients, address post-operative concerns, and coordinate additional care as required
- Handle a daily census of 20-22 in-person visits, with the potential for additional telehealth consultations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic protocols
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- May perform trigger point, hip, or knee injections if experienced

- Eligibility or possession of a valid state license; support available for obtaining licensure
- DEA registration with schedule 2 and 2N privileges required
- Experience in outpatient neuro-spine or related surgical specialties preferred
- Skilled in outpatient procedures and patient management
- Background in trigger point, hip, or knee injections is a plus
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
