Neuro-Ophthalmologist, MD – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of neuro-ophthalmic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform comprehensive neuro-ophthalmic examinations and interpret diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists and neurosurgeons, to develop optimal treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
- Participate in ongoing medical education and contribute to clinical research initiatives, if desired
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology strongly preferred
- Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain) in MI
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills in neuro-ophthalmology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
