Network Engineer - Summary
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for optimal connectivity and performance.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Support virtual environments with a focus on VMware and related networking components.
- Monitor and analyze network performance metrics to identify and resolve outages or bottlenecks.
- Deploy and maintain next-generation firewalls, including platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Firepower.
- Implement and support cloud networking solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Utilize network automation and infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform and Ansible, to streamline network management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and technical projects.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures for ongoing support and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve the network environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Extensive experience (typically 4-7 years) designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructures.
- Advanced proficiency in BGP and dynamic routing protocols.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware and next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and connectivity, particularly with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with modern networking platforms such as SASE or SD-WAN.
- Experience supporting virtualized environments, particularly VMware.
- Knowledge of network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
