Neonatologist - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

- Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and mentor medical residents, fellows, and support staff in the NICU.
- Engage in family conferences, providing clear information and guidance regarding infant care and prognosis.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical guidelines for neonatal care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Neonatology fellowship and board certification in Neonatology.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the relevant state.
- Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Exceptional clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
