Palm Health Resources is actively seeking dedicated and skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP) and Physician Assistants (PA) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team on a full-time basis. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the NICU, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and specialized care to neonatal patients requiring Level III or IV support. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - NICU Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to neonates requiring intensive and critical care within Level III or IV NICU settings
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage acute and chronic neonatal conditions
- Utilize advanced clinical skills to provide ventilator management, medication administration, and life-sustaining interventions
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate families on neonatal conditions, care procedures, and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects within the NICU
- Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient progress in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Provide mentorship and guidance to new graduate APPs and NICU RNs as appropriate

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current and unencumbered Florida State Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current national certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) in lieu of PALS for NNPs
- At least one year of NICU experience as an NNP or PA, or NICU RN experience for new graduates
- Minimum of three years of Level III or IV NICU APP experience preferred for sign-on bonus eligibility
