Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of neonates in the NICU
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Initiate and manage advanced therapies as appropriate for critically ill newborns
- Educate and support families regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices in neonatal care
- Work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, based on department needs

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with NICU experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Level III NICU setting
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as required
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
- Excellent clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
