Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Summary- Provide advanced practice nursing services in a Level III NICU setting
- Deliver comprehensive care to premature and critically ill infants
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Perform and manage advanced neonatal procedures
- Participate in the ongoing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of neonates
- Assess, diagnose, and manage the care of neonates in a Level III NICU
- Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and resuscitation
- Collaborate with neonatologists, physician assistants, and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with families regarding patient care and treatment options
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
