Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Summary
In this role, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing the healthcare needs of neonates, particularly those requiring intensive or specialized care. Duties & Responsibilities

- Prescribe medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with state and federal regulations.

- Offer family-centered education and counseling, supporting families through complex medical situations.
- Participate in resuscitation, stabilization, and transport of critically ill neonates when required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license with current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program specializing in neonatal care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
