Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate and support families, providing information regarding neonatal conditions, treatment options, and ongoing care requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize interdisciplinary communication and patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (NP) with specialization in Neonatology (NNP) or eligibility for certification.
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a focus on neonatology.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in neonatal care; experience in a hospital or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
