The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) position offers an exciting opportunity for advanced practice providers with experience in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) settings. This role is ideal for skilled neonatal nurse practitioners or neonatal physician assistants who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to critically ill newborns, including extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants and those with complex medical and surgical needs. The available assignment is for a minimum of six months, with the possibility of extension. Providers will join a dedicated team in a 56-bed Level III NICU, supporting the transition to an academic rounding model and collaborating with pediatric subspecialists to advance patient outcomes.

As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), you will play a vital role in providing expert care for premature and ill infants, including those born as early as 22 weeks gestation. The unit manages approximately 1,200 admissions annually, with a significant portion involving ELBW infants. The team performs pediatric surgeries and manages complex congenital malformations and diseases, ensuring a dynamic and challenging clinical environment. Flexible scheduling is available, including 12, 24, and 48-hour shift options, accommodating both day and night coverage needs. All travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided, and highly competitive 1099 compensation is offered to support your commitment and expertise.
