As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), you will play a vital role in providing expert care for premature and ill infants, including those born as early as 22 weeks gestation. The unit manages approximately 1,200 admissions annually, with a significant portion involving ELBW infants. The team performs pediatric surgeries and manages complex congenital malformations and diseases, ensuring a dynamic and challenging clinical environment. Flexible scheduling is available, including 12, 24, and 48-hour shift options, accommodating both day and night coverage needs. All travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided, and highly competitive 1099 compensation is offered to support your commitment and expertise.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to neonates, including ELBW infants and those with complex congenital conditions

- Support and educate families, ensuring understanding and engagement in the care plan
- Assist in the transition to an academic rounding model within the NICU

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current licensure as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal Physician Assistant (PA)
- Demonstrated experience in a Level III or higher NICU setting
- Expertise in the care of premature and critically ill neonates, including ELBW infants
- Ability to manage complex congenital malformations and participate in pediatric surgeries
- Strong collaboration, communication, and clinical documentation skills
