Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Summary
- Full-time advanced practice provider position within a Level IV NICU
- Collaborate closely with attending physicians, fellows, and residents
- Provide care for a diverse neonatal patient population with an average daily census of 34
- Attend and manage high-risk deliveries as a core component of the role
- Inpatient coverage with both day and night shift availability

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead a team of neonatal care providers during assigned shifts, overseeing patient management in the NICU
- Attend and perform advanced clinical care at high-risk deliveries
- Collaborate with attending faculty, fellows, and residents to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Act as the primary advanced practice provider for the NICU during night shifts, with in-house physician support
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for NICU patients
- Perform critical procedures, assessments, and interventions as indicated
- Educate and support families throughout the neonatal care continuum
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the NICU

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS)
- Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Current national certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) if NNP
- Demonstrated expertise in neonatal patient management and high-risk deliveries
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
