Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting
- Participate in and manage high-risk and C-section deliveries
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress
- Perform procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, and lumbar puncture as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Educate and support families throughout their NICU experience
- Participate in daily clinical rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to best practice guidelines and maintain a commitment to patient safety

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
- Active RN and APRN licensure
- Preference for candidates with an active Hawaii license; open to candidates willing to obtain licensure
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Level III NICU or equivalent setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, procedural, and communication skills
- BLS and NRP certification required
