MRI Technologist (Rad Tech) - Summary- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as prescribed by medical staff.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging results.
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety standards for MRI procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
- Operate MRI machinery and adjust settings to obtain optimal images based on the clinical indication.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Follow established protocols for contrast administration and infection control.
- Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and quality assurance initiatives within the imaging department.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
