Mobile QA Engineer – Fintech Job OverviewJoin our remote quality assurance (QA) team as a Mobile QA Engineer – Fintech. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of mobile financial technology applications. As a key member of the QA function, your expertise in identifying, reproducing, and analyzing complex bugs will contribute to the seamless operation and trustworthiness of our mobile fintech platforms. This is a remote, full-time opportunity for professionals passionate about mobile application quality and financial technology.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive debugging scenarios to identify and document defects affecting the functionality, security, and data integrity of mobile fintech applications.
- Utilize advanced mobile debugging tools to investigate root causes of issues, including transaction process errors and data inconsistencies within the app environment.
- Generate detailed and precise bug reports, outlining clear reproduction steps and technical analysis to assist development teams in timely issue resolution.
- Work collaboratively with software developers, QA specialists, and security experts to address and resolve critical bugs impacting financial technology applications.
- Validate fixes and conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that resolved issues do not recur and that the overall app quality is maintained.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly within the context of mobile fintech applications.
- Proficiency in using mobile debugging tools and a working knowledge of financial data structures and transaction flows.
- Proven experience in mobile quality assurance, software debugging, or technical support within the fintech industry.
- Access to a reliable, secure internet connection and a range of relevant mobile devices for testing purposes.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and a strong focus on identifying and reporting security vulnerabilities.
