Mobile Game QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Game QA Tester to join our remote team on a full-time or project-based employment type. As a Mobile Game QA Tester, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and performance of mobile games by systematically identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs and issues. Your work will contribute to the delivery of smooth, enjoyable gaming experiences for players worldwide, supporting the mission to produce high-quality mobile games.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive test plans and perform exploratory testing on a variety of mobile games to identify defects, glitches, and inconsistencies in gameplay, graphics, and user interface.
- Document all discovered defects with clear, concise information, including detailed reproduction steps, expected behavior, and actual results to facilitate resolution by the development team.
- Collaborate closely with the QA lead and game development team to communicate bug details, clarify requirements, and verify implemented fixes.
- Perform regression testing to confirm that previously resolved issues do not reoccur and that new updates do not introduce additional bugs.
- Submit regular reports—daily or weekly as required—summarizing bug discovery rates, testing progress, and overall game stability.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a systematic approach to identifying and documenting bugs in mobile games.
- Ability to work remotely using collaboration and bug-tracking tools effectively.
- A passion for mobile gaming and a keen interest in contributing to the improvement of gameplay experiences.
- Previous experience in game testing, quality assurance, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
- Reliable internet connection and access to both iOS and Android mobile devices for comprehensive testing coverage.
- Strong observational skills with the capability to describe technical issues clearly and accurately to team members.
