Mobile Game QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Game QA Tester to join our remote team as a key contributor to the quality assurance process. In this full-time remote role, you will play an integral part in ensuring that all features, mechanics, and systems in our mobile games function as intended. As a Mobile Game QA Tester, you will be responsible for supporting the development cycle by providing thorough feedback on gameplay functionality and collaborating with developers to maintain high standards of quality for our mobile titles. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, particularly for candidates located in the Asia-Pacific region.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive and methodical test plans on mobile games throughout all stages of development to identify and document any issues or bugs.
- Systematically report all discovered bugs, inconsistencies, or functional failures, ensuring clear and detailed documentation for each issue.
- Work closely with development teams to facilitate the resolution of bugs and maintain the integrity of all game features and mechanics.
- Test in-game purchases, core gameplay systems, and other functionalities to confirm seamless operation and user experience.
- Provide concise and organized daily or weekly summaries of testing activities, highlighting key findings and progress updates.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with a systematic approach to quality assurance and testing procedures.
- Experience with remote testing environments and familiarity with a variety of mobile game genres and platforms.
- Previous experience in game functionality testing or software quality assurance (QA) is strongly preferred.
- Access to stable internet and a diverse range of mobile devices to conduct effective testing across different hardware.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and provide actionable feedback.
