Mobile Game QA Tester Job OverviewAs a Mobile Game QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality for upcoming mobile games before they are released to the public. Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive playtesting scenarios to assess the functionality, performance, and stability of mobile games on various devices and operating systems.
- Identify, record, and clearly document bugs, glitches, and other technical or user experience issues using established reporting tools and processes.
- Evaluate and provide detailed feedback on gameplay mechanics, game balance, and overall player enjoyment to help shape future updates and improvements.
- Ensure all game features operate as intended across different mobile devices, screen sizes, and operating systems, maintaining compatibility and a consistent player experience.
- Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to communicate findings and assist in troubleshooting reported issues.
- Submit thorough daily or weekly reports outlining test results, observed issues, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with trends in mobile games and quality assurance best practices to continually enhance testing methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow structured testing instructions and document findings accurately.
- Familiarity with remote working tools and strong organizational skills for managing tasks in a distributed team environment.
- Solid understanding of mobile gaming ecosystems, including experience with both iOS and Android platforms.
