Mobile Game QA Tester Job OverviewWe are currently looking for a highly detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Mobile Game QA Tester. This is a remote, global, full-time employment opportunity, where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and playability of mobile games, directly impacting user experience on a worldwide scale. As a Mobile Game QA Tester, your primary responsibility is to systematically test mobile games, identify and document defects, and collaborate with the development team to guarantee a polished final product.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive test plans and conduct exploratory testing on various mobile games to uncover bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies.
- Accurately document all identified defects, providing clear reproduction steps, details of expected versus actual behavior, and any supporting evidence.
- Collaborate regularly with the QA lead and development team to communicate bug details, track progress, and verify fixes.
- Perform thorough regression testing to confirm that resolved issues do not reappear and that new bugs are not introduced with updates.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports on bug discovery rates, testing progress, and overall findings to keep the team informed.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to identifying and documenting software defects.
- Comfortable using remote collaboration tools and working independently in a remote environment.
- A strong interest in mobile gaming, with the ability to assess games from a player’s perspective.
- Previous experience in game testing, software quality assurance, or a similar field is advantageous but not required.
- Reliable internet connection and access to both iOS and Android mobile devices for comprehensive game testing.
- Excellent observational skills and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely in written form.
