Responsibilities- Perform detailed performance testing on mobile games, monitoring essential metrics such as frames per second (FPS), CPU and GPU usage, memory allocation, and battery consumption.
- Use mobile performance profiling tools to detect and analyze areas in the game code and assets that may impact performance.
- Thoroughly document all performance issues found during testing, ensuring that each issue includes clear data and reproducible steps for engineering teams.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and development teams to investigate, discuss, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, including performance benchmarks, detailed descriptions of issues, and actionable optimization recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail regarding the performance aspects of mobile games.
- Familiarity with industry-standard mobile performance profiling tools and a solid understanding of hardware limitations associated with mobile devices.
- Background in game performance testing, technical quality assurance (QA), or mobile development is highly preferred.
- Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a variety of mobile devices to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Ability to interpret complex performance data, identify trends or issues, and translate findings into actionable feedback for development teams.
