Mobile Game QA Tester Job OverviewWe are actively seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Mobile Game QA Tester to join our remote Quality Assurance (QA) team. In this critical position, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of mobile games by meticulously investigating, reproducing, and reporting bugs and technical issues. As a Mobile Game QA Tester, you will help maintain high-quality gaming experiences by collaborating closely with developers to facilitate efficient problem resolution. This remote, full-time opportunity is open to candidates based in the USA.
Responsibilities- Reproduce, analyze, and document complex bugs, crashes, and performance issues encountered in mobile games across a variety of devices.
- Leverage mobile game development tools and debugging techniques to identify the root causes of technical defects in games.
- Work closely with development teams by providing clear, concise, and actionable technical reports to enable swift resolution of issues.
- Verify bug fixes and perform comprehensive regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur and that overall game quality is maintained.
- Submit detailed technical documentation for each identified issue, including logs, reproduction steps, statistical data, and environmental context.
- Maintain a high standard of communication and accuracy in all QA documentation to support ongoing development and release cycles.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on technical detail and thoroughness.
- Hands-on experience with mobile game development platforms, debugging tools, or crash reporting systems.
- Background in game QA, technical debugging, or mobile app development, emphasizing detailed debugging work.
- Reliable access to high-speed internet and a range of current mobile devices to effectively test and debug games.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical information to engineering and development teams.
