Mobile App QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Mobile App QA Tester to join our remote team in North America. Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing on assigned in-app features and user flows within various mobile applications.
- Thoroughly document any identified bugs, glitches, or pain points affecting the user experience, ensuring that all findings are precise and actionable.
- Collaborate closely with product management and development teams to communicate detailed reports on issues, plus provide constructive suggestions for improvements.
- Verify that in-app features function consistently and effectively across a variety of mobile devices, including both iOS and Android platforms, as well as multiple software versions.
- Generate and submit regular reports—either daily or weekly—summarizing findings, patterns, and recommendations for future releases or updates.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow complex testing instructions and scenarios.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools, enabling effective communication and teamwork in a distributed environment.
- Solid understanding of mobile app interactions and user experience principles.
- Experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is beneficial, though not mandatory.
- Reliable internet connection and regular access to multiple mobile devices, including both iOS and Android phones or tablets.
- Demonstrated proactive approach in identifying, documenting, and reporting usability issues and user friction points.
