Mobile App QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Mobile App QA Tester. This remote, project-based opportunity is ideal for candidates with a passion for improving user experiences in mobile applications. As a Mobile App QA Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functionality and usability of various in-app features, helping to enhance the overall user journey. This position is available to candidates across North America and offers the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with product and development teams.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for a range of in-app features and user flows within mobile applications.
- Accurately document bugs, glitches, and areas where users may encounter issues or friction.
- Work collaboratively with product managers and development teams to communicate findings, provide actionable feedback, and suggest improvements.
- Ensure that all in-app features function consistently and efficiently across multiple mobile devices and operating system versions, including both iOS and Android platforms.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing testing results, identified issues, and recommended solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow complex testing instructions.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and a deep understanding of mobile app interactions.
- Experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a variety of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets running iOS and Android.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing user experience challenges.
