Millwork Estimator - Summary
- Key contributor to commercial millwork project planning and execution through detailed cost estimation.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend job walks to assess project sites and gather necessary details for accurate estimation.
- Field dimension (Field Dim) projects as required to ensure measurements are precise and up-to-date.
- Maintain thorough and organized records for each project, documenting all relevant aspects of the estimation process.
- Review bid requests and prepare timely, competitive estimates in response to client and company needs.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and shop foremen to ensure all estimation inputs are aligned and accurate.
- Provide clear and concise answers to questions regarding quotes, supporting both internal teams and external clients.
- Perform detailed take-offs from architectural drawings, including thorough breakdowns of materials and labor required.
- Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) when project details require clarification to ensure estimate accuracy.
- Solicit and evaluate competitive pricing from vendors to maximize project value and maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize company-specific estimating programs and systems, ensuring all pricing data is current and reliable.
