Duties & Responsibilities
- Use Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD software to create detailed shop drawings, presentation drawings, cut lists, and CNC production files for custom cabinetry and millwork
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and schedules
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and project execution
- Maintain and update parts libraries to improve engineering efficiency and accuracy
- Participate in redline reviews with designers and consult with project owners on necessary design adjustments
- Work with shop foremen to review and finalize shop drawings, addressing unique or unconventional cabinetry designs
- Create and maintain comprehensive drawing logs, delivery schedules, and other project documentation using specialized software

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of experience using Cabinet Vision software for custom cabinetry and millwork projects
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed and accurate drawings and designs for commercial cabinetry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve design challenges
Ideal Candidate Snapshot
- Previous shop or installation experience preferred
- Experience with Alphacam software considered a plus
- Familiarity with nested-based CNC machinery is advantageous
- Deep understanding of cabinetry construction and component interface
