The Microsoft Fabric Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and optimizing data platform solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure cloud technologies. - Minimum five years of experience in data engineering or building large-scale data platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse architectures, Data Factory pipelines, and dataflows Gen2.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or PySpark, and SQL.
- Experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks for batch and streaming workloads.
- Deep understanding of Medallion architecture, Delta Lake, and parquet storage formats.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps and Git.
- Preferred: Experience with Power BI semantic models, real-time analytics in Fabric, and data cataloging/lineage tools.
