Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and web inquiries from seniors seeking Medicare guidance, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism and empathy.
- Assess clients’ needs and recommend appropriate Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Medicare Part D plans using an advanced quote-and-enroll platform.
- Complete electronic applications in accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and maintain detailed client records in the CRM system.
- Follow up with clients regarding pending enrollments to maximize placement rates and secure renewal opportunities.
- Stay current on Medicare product offerings, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards to ensure accurate guidance.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing best practices and, as you gain experience, mentor new advisors on processes and client engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience in phone-based sales, call center operations, or customer service preferred.
- Ability to effectively navigate multiple online tools simultaneously while communicating with clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in an independent, remote work environment.
- U.S. residency and authorization to work as an independent contractor (1099 status).
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills, with a commitment to delivering excellent client experiences.
Schedule and Tools Provided
- Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Evening and Saturday hours are optional for those seeking additional lead flow.
- All necessary sales tools are provided, including a steady flow of inbound leads, national carrier contracts, an e-application platform, CRM access, compliance and E&O coverage, and weekly direct deposit pay.
