The Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) plays a vital role in hospital laboratory operations, supporting patient care by performing and analyzing a wide array of diagnostic tests. Proficiency in manual laboratory procedures is essential for the Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) role. You will be expected to accurately perform and interpret urine drug screens, gram stains, mononucleosis and strep screening, urine pregnancy tests, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), as well as both manual and automated blood banking procedures. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting laboratory equipment and conducting routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
