The practice environment is primarily outpatient-based, ensuring regular hours and a balanced workload. With a manageable patient volume and collaborative call schedule, you will have the opportunity to focus on the quality of care and professional development. The team currently includes two other physicians with a patient population that is approximately 75% oncology and 25% hematology, promoting a well-rounded and diverse clinical experience.

Medical Oncologist (MD/DO) - Summary
- Full-time opportunity for an experienced or newly board-certified Medical Oncologist (MD/DO)
- Outpatient-focused role with a collaborative multidisciplinary team

Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of oncology and hematology conditions in adult patients
- Manage and oversee the care of approximately 15-20 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting
- Participate in a shared call schedule (approximately 10 days per month) to provide continuity of care
- Collaborate closely with fellow physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Provide patient education regarding disease processes, treatment options, and supportive care resources
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions and quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in oncology and hematology through continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of a residency and fellowship in Oncology and/or Hematology
- Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology (and/or Hematology preferred)
- Current, unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development
