As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with various types of malignancies. You will typically see 12-15 patients per day, collaborating with nursing staff, support personnel, and other specialists to provide patient-centered oncology care. Your expertise will be pivotal in educating patients and their families on cancer diagnoses, therapeutic options, side effect management, and long-term survivorship strategies.
This role offers a highly competitive daily compensation rate and includes comprehensive coverage for travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance. The employment type for this position is contract, offering a flexible 3-4 day per week schedule for a defined term. Medical Oncologist (MD/DO) - Summary- Contract position for a board-certified Medical Oncologist (MD/DO)
- Outpatient cancer center setting with no inpatient or on-call duties
- Flexible 3-4 day per week schedule
- Serve a diverse patient population in a supportive, team-based environment
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with various types of cancer
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide chemotherapy and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, pharmacists, and social workers
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient medical records in compliance with regulations

- Board certification in Medical Oncology
- Valid medical license to practice as an oncologist
