We are looking for a skilled Medical Oncologist (MD/DO) to join our multidisciplinary oncology team in Northern Iowa. This permanent, full-time position is designed for a compassionate physician who thrives in an outpatient setting while being part of a collaborative environment. As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced oncology care and support to patients, helping to improve outcomes and quality of life for those battling cancer.
This Medical Oncologist position is primarily outpatient-focused, with minimal inpatient responsibilities. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Physicians will participate in a rotating call schedule of 1:4, generally seeing approximately 12-16 patients each day. The call rotation is designed to ensure manageable workloads, with only 5-6 call days per month and one holiday assignment per year. At-home call is available, and physicians enjoy a post-call day off, further enhancing work-life balance and family time.
