The Medical Oncologist role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to diagnose, treat, and manage oncology and hematology patients. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a healthy work-life balance and continuity of care for patients. The patient population is evenly split, with approximately 50% oncology and 50% hematology cases, offering a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment for the physician who seeks to make a profound impact on patient lives.
