As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will work alongside a skilled team of laboratory professionals, including Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Medical Assistants, and Phlebotomists. This role involves performing and interpreting a wide array of laboratory tests in hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation studies, urinalysis, and limited blood banking, with no requirement for Antibody ID. You will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily lab activities. Experience with microbiology and PCR is advantageous, though not mandatory, and training is available for adaptable candidates eager to expand their expertise.

Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT/CLS/MLS/MLT) - Summary- Conducts a wide range of diagnostic laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, and limited blood banking
- Operates and maintains modern laboratory equipment and technology
- Collaborates closely with a team of 10–15 laboratory professionals
- Provides timely and accurate diagnostic results to support patient care
- Works an overnight shift to ensure around-the-clock laboratory coverage
- Contributes to a respected hospital with a strong sense of community
- Perform, analyze, and report results of laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety standards

- Certification as Medical Technologist (MT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by ASCP or AMT
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field
- Proficient in laboratory disciplines: hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
- Microbiology and PCR experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to laboratory best practices and patient safety
- Adaptable and flexible, able to support various roles within the laboratory
