As a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you will have the chance to work with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, participate in ongoing training, and make a direct impact on patient outcomes.

As a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) in this full-time role, your expertise will be instrumental in performing a wide variety of laboratory tests and procedures across key clinical areas, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, serology, transfusion services, and phlebotomy. You will be responsible for preparing, evaluating, and processing patient specimens, operating complex laboratory instruments, and maintaining rigorous quality control standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that laboratory data is reliable and that results are reported in a timely manner to support patient care decisions.

In this position, you will also be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments, preparation of reagents and reference materials, and adherence to regulatory protocols and laboratory safety standards. You will be expected to participate in ongoing training and development to remain current on laboratory best practices and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards. Your role will also involve supporting laboratory operations by preparing specimens for analysis and transport, handling biological waste according to safety protocols, and utilizing laboratory information systems for data entry and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate for the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) position will possess a recognized certification from an accredited organization such as the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT), have completed a college-based laboratory technician certification program, and hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A minimum of one year of clinical laboratory experience, including a comprehensive rotation through all laboratory sections, is required. U.S. citizenship is mandatory for this role.
