Medical Director, Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary
- Lead and manage clinical healthcare services within a correctional facility setting.
- Provide direct patient care and oversee the diagnosis and treatment of a diverse patient population.
- Supervise a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, state regulations, and national healthcare standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical services, utilizing sound medical judgment in all aspects of patient care.
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of medical care, ensuring accessibility, timeliness, and quality for all patients.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Current DEA registration.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a closely related specialty.
- Minimum of two to three years of clinical experience in primary care, correctional medicine, or public health preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
