Medical Director – Primary Care (MD/DO) Summary
- Lead an outpatient primary care center specializing in senior care and chronic disease management.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the primary care center, ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and support primary care providers (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs), promoting best practices in geriatric and chronic disease management.
- Maintain a small patient panel (60–90 patients) for personalized, high-frequency patient interactions.
- Implement and monitor value-based care initiatives to drive improvements in clinical quality and cost efficiency.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff through structured leadership and medical director training programs.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Engage in holistic health services, such as acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling, to support patient wellness.
- Contribute to growth and outreach strategies, supporting the clinic’s mission to expand access to quality care for seniors.
- Review and analyze clinical and financial performance data to identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or a related specialty.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a geriatric, family, or primary care setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
