As Medical Director – Primary Care (MD/DO), you will guide a dedicated team of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs), focusing on a senior patient population with multiple chronic conditions. Medical Director – Primary Care (MD/DO) – Summary
- Serve as the clinical and operational leader for a primary care center focused on seniors.
- Lead a team dedicated to delivering value-based, high-quality patient care.
- Oversee clinical operations, patient outcomes, and provider development in a supportive, mission-driven organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a small patient panel (60-90 patients) with complex chronic conditions, ensuring personalized and consistent care.
- Supervise and mentor PCPs and NPs, fostering a collaborative, high-performing care team.
- Drive excellence in value-based care, focusing on patient satisfaction and health outcomes.
- Participate in and complete robust training programs, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director Essentials, leadership pathways, and financial performance management.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists, including cardiology and podiatry, to provide holistic patient care.
- Engage in center operations, medical economics, and business growth activities.
- Promote holistic wellness through support of acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition services.
- Champion patient access and experience, including oversight of transportation services for patients.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred, with the ability to manage and mentor clinical teams.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as required for operational support and training.
