Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) - Summary
- Lead clinical operations in a mission-driven, primary care outpatient setting.
- Supervise and mentor a team of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Deliver value-based care to a panel of senior patients with multiple chronic conditions.
- Engage in organizational leadership development programs and advanced clinical training.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in patient experience and health outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the clinical management of a small patient panel, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Manage, coach, and develop PCPs and NPs to support professional growth and optimal team performance.
- Implement and uphold value-based care initiatives, focusing on preventive and holistic health services.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in areas such as cardiology and podiatry.
- Support holistic health offerings including acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition programs.
- Monitor and enhance clinical quality metrics and financial performance of the center.
- Participate in leadership training programs and medical director pathway development.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to assess patient outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting; leadership experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally.
