The Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO), will oversee a small patient panel and manage a team of primary care providers and nurse practitioners. The patient population consists primarily of seniors with multiple chronic conditions, providing you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives. Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to a panel of up to 250 seniors, focusing on those with multiple chronic conditions.
- Supervise and mentor primary care providers (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Champion value-based care and ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists, including cardiology and podiatry, for comprehensive patient management.
- Utilize holistic health services such as acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition support in patient care plans.
- Ensure operational excellence and participate in center financial performance initiatives.
- Engage in ongoing leadership training, including Medical Director and Center Operations programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and teamwork.
- Participate in local and occasional regional travel as part of leadership duties.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or a related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to travel locally and regionally as needed.
- Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, are preferred but not required.
