As a Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO), you will work within a collaborative environment alongside other primary care physicians and advanced practice clinicians. The focus is on providing care for a senior patient population, typically managing individuals with multiple chronic diseases. In addition to clinical oversight, the Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) will manage a team of primary care providers (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs), fostering a culture of excellence and ongoing improvement. Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) - Summary- Lead and oversee clinical operations in an outpatient primary care setting dedicated to senior health.
- Champion value-based care to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
- Manage a small patient panel, focusing on quality over quantity.

- Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care for a panel of up to 225 patients, primarily seniors managing multiple chronic conditions.
- Oversee and mentor a team of primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, ensuring clinical best practices and professional growth.
- Implement and monitor value-based care initiatives to drive positive health outcomes.
- Participate in clinical operations, including scheduling, patient flow management, and quality improvement projects.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and more to deliver integrated care.
- Engage with holistic health services such as acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition programs to support comprehensive patient wellness.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold organizational standards of care.
- Contribute to the clinic's financial performance and growth through sound medical economics practices.

- Medical degree (MD or DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally.
