Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) - Summary
- Lead a multidisciplinary team focused on senior care in a primary care setting.
- Champion value-based, patient-centered healthcare delivery.
- Ensure clinical excellence and operational effectiveness in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the primary care center.
- Manage and mentor a team of primary care providers (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Supervise a small patient panel (60-90 patients), focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions.
- Implement and monitor value-based care initiatives to improve health outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training programs, including PCP Black Belt Training and Leadership Pathways.
- Collaborate with in-house specialists in areas such as Cardiology and Podiatry.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of holistic health, integrating services such as acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling.
- Engage in practice growth and outreach efforts to expand patient base and community impact.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in FM, IM, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally.
